Appointments at Posterngate Surgery

Ring our main switchboard on 01757 702561 to book an appointment at either our main practice or one of our two branch surgeries.

Alternatively, you can now register at the surgery to be able to book appointments online. This is an easy process and frees up the telephone line.

Urgent problems will be seen the same day by a GP. However we cannot guarantee that you will see your usual GP or any other GP that you request.

Some appointments are available up to 10 working days in advance. These are limited in number. We stagger the availability of times after this.

If your condition is non-urgent, you can expect to see a GP within two working days. However, you may have to wait longer if you want to see a particular GP.

Nurses based in our Practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions. You can expect to see a nurse within one working day.

We offer telephone appointments with all the clinical staff, including GPs. If you feel your problem can be dealt with over the telephone, please ask our Reception team who will be pleased to help you.

Please note that we cannot guarantee the time at which you may be called back if the member of staff is not available immediately.

Please note that the surgery telephone number will appear as 'private' or 'unknown' on caller display phones.

Late cancellation of appointments means that we are unable to offer that appointment to another patient and is a waste of GP or nurses time. Please try and attend.

Patients who persistently do not attend will be removed from our Practice list.

Telephone Appointments
