Fees for Non-NHS Work
There are several services provided by the Practice, which are not covered by the NHS. For these, a fee is chargeable.
Please note that we have had to register for VAT from 1st April 2006, due to chnages in the NHS rules. As a result some of our fees now attract VAT. This is shown on the fee scale.
Policy for overseas visitors
We do charge patients whose main residence is not in the UK.
The NHS does have a reciprocal agreement with some countries e.g. those within the European Union.
Where there is a reciprocal arrangement, patients may be entitled to get a refund from their country of residence. We do however charge all overseas visitors for our services whose main residence is not the UK. Please note that not all practices have the same policy. So if you have anyone visiting from overseas and staying with you, it is worth checking with other surgeries, who may not necessarily charge.
